We recently had 25 different active retirement groups staying with us on our Active Retirement outing! They came from Westmeath, Roscommon, Longford, Tipperary, Dublin, Limerick, and even Cork!
Everyone arrived on a Monday afternoon and enjoyed tea and coffee with freshly baked scones from our kitchen in our Tower Gallery.
On Tuesday Longs Coaches picked us up and we went on a day trip of West Cork! We visited gorgeous Glandore and Union Hall and of course we had to do a bit of shopping at Trag Knitwear! For lunch we stopped at the Skibbereen Eagle Pub in Tragumna. After lunch we spent time in beautiful Bantry House and Gardens.
That night after a bucks fizz reception and sumptuous meal in the banqueting suite everyone danced the night away to Irish and Country music. The dance floor was full!! We were delighted that the local Active Retirement groups from Rosscarbery and Ardagh were able to join us for the night.
Galbally ARA “A note to thank you most sincerely for a great two days & nights in the Celtic Ross Hotel. It was above & beyond our wildest expectations, the food, accomodation & the lovely trip to Bantry House was brilliant, words can’t express how much we enjoyed our time with you. I hope we will visit the Celtic Ross again in the future.”
