Celtic Ross Crowned the National Winner of Ireland’s Best Three Star Hotel!
Over 450 professionals from the hospitality industry turned out for the 30th annual Hotel & Catering Reviews Gold Medal Awards. The awards took place at a black-tie awards ceremony in the luxurious Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny and were hosted by TV3's Martin King. Attending on the night were General Manager Neil Grant. Executive Chef Alex Petit and Weddings and Events Manager Marie Dooley. Recognised as the leading independent awards programme for the Irish hospitality industry and judged by industry experts, the Hotel & Catering Review Gold Medal Awards recognise and reward excellence in hospitality and catering operations across Ireland. These awards encourage and applaud hotels, restaurants, guest houses, spa and leisure facilities, event caterers, healthcare caterers, site caterers, as well as individuals and teams, that achieve the highest standard of product and service in the industry.
They are intensely competitive; drawing entries from hundreds of hotels, restaurants, guesthouses, spas and catering businesses every year. Each entrant is thoroughly evaluated by members of the Gold Medal Awards judging panel who travel the length and breadth of the country over the course of the summer months to search for Ireland’s greatest purveyors of hospitality.
