Exciting Opportunity

The Celtic Ross is well placed in the wonderful tourist centre of Rosscarbery in the heart of West Cork. Recently awarded Ireland’s Best Three Star Hotel and having been named one of Ireland’s Fab 50 places to stay by Irish Independent, the hotel prides itself on delivering a high level of customer service.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef to be involved in a new venture for the summer months. This is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your culinary skills quite literally on the Wild Atlantic Way. The Celtic Ross are investing heavily in their outdoor dining offering and you will be at the forefront of this.

The successful candidate will have:

• Management and organisational skills, team player and the ability to work under pressure.
• A proven track record in driving quality standards.
• An ability to lead by example within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• To ensure that all hygiene and HACCP regulations are strictly adhered to always.
• Must be passionate about food/presentation/local produce.

Guest Relations Manager

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, customer care & complaint handing skills.
  • To respond to all guests requests in a prompt efficient manner and follow-up to ensure the guest is satisfied.
  • To deal with any customer complaints as per the Service Recovery policy in the Standard Operating procedures, ensure supervisors or managers are made aware of the situation.
  • To check guest satisfaction continuously throughout their experience.

Food & Beverage Attendants 

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Previous F&B experience an advantage
  • A team player
  • Flexibility with hours
  • A high level of customer service is essential

Chefs of all Levels

The ideal candidate must have 3 years’ experience in a busy kitchen environment and be able to work under pressure and be a team player (in a team of 10 chefs)

Requirements:

  • To have a good knowledge of classical and fine dining, modern contemporary and ethnic cuisine
  • To have a good understanding of flavours, textures and presentation of food
  • To follow strict cooking guidelines and adhere to standards of procedures in place, including food hygiene and personal hygiene 
  • To be fluent in the English language
  • Be available for lunch and dinner prep and service
